Im Elbwalzer ist eine Mandolinette zu hören. Das ist eine Zither mit einer aufsetzbaren Tastatur. Ich nenn das Instrument, das in den 1920ern gebaut und in den 1990ern restauriert wurde, liebevoll mein Campingklavier.

Andere Formen dieses Instruments sind in den USA als "Marxophon" an Haustüren verkauft wurden. Im Alabama-Song der Doors ist ein Marxophon-Solo zu hören.
